This place is awesome. Had an off the wall camper tire that I desperately needed. Tony was very friendly and helpful. The place is like a museum with tons of cool relics. Had a great lounge area with a tv. I was sad that it only took 15 minutes to replace the tire, which was also awesome. Proud to support a true mom and pop shop. Keep these places alive America!
Amazing service. Tony did an estimate of a complete heating system, brakes and engine gaskets - quite a bit of work - for free. He always does a little extra when I'm there. He returns calls and makes sure that if you have to wait, that you're comfortable. I won't go anywhere else nearby. All the staff I've encountered are friendly and helpful. I came in one time with a broken valve stem in my tire. He stoped what he was doing, fixed it immediately and I drove away without paying a dime. It wasn't even a tire I got there! (It's just one example of the type of things he does.) I love this place. I won't go anywhere else.
30 minutes easy job turns into 4 hours nightmare installing a simple hitch. No knowledge how to do it and definitely not having right tools. Finally I help them my self to finish a work. On my arrival I was told it's gonna cost me only $25 but after work was complet they charge me $ 150. If you want to be screwed on money this is the place.
I had a delivery truck blow 2 tires on the road outside of Oregon, IL 40 miles from our home office. There were no tow trucks in the area which were large enough to tow my truck into a tire shop so Tony came out in his own pickup truck with a jack and tools, took the wheels off the truck, put new rubber on them back at his shop, and brought them back out to our delivery truck on the side of the road. Absolutely excellent service. If we were closer geographically he would have earned the tire and repair business of my entire fleet.
